Naples, New Year's Eve 2020: concerts in the square and dancing until dawn

Great expectations for the concert in Piazza del Plebiscito, where the most anticipated stars are the singer-songwriter Daniele Silvestri, the composer and pianist Stefano Bollani and Livio Cori, who will perform live on the large stage set up in one of the most important Neapolitan squares. The lights will illuminate the colonnade of the square: the party will begin at 21.30 and will last until midnight, the mayor Luigi De Magistris will personally participate in the New Year's toast.

The party will then move to the seafront, with fireworks at Castel dell'Ovo and 4 stages of different musical genres to dance until dawn with the largest open-air disco in Italy, on via Partenope and Rotonda Diaz .

THEATER AND CONCERTS:

• Palazzo Fondi: Branding Dalì, until 2 February 2020 a one-of-a-kind journey will be available regarding the production of the famous Salvador Dalì. The exhibition guides the visitor to discover that the myth of the Catalan artist is built by himself with an obsessive method. Branding Dalì will stage books, posters, fine graphic series, objects in glass, porcelain, terracotta and silver, eventually collecting more than 150 works.
• PAN – Palazzo delle Arti: Exhibition of Wally Bonafè “Scopic Art”, curated by Yvonne Carbonaro, throughout the Christmas holidays. During the day Wally Bonafè's paintings show a lively chromatic play while, when it's dark, the same paintings represent a different image based on the luminescence of the line that emerges from the darkness in signs and spirals of suggestive fluorescence.
• Palm Theater: Fifth edition of the Great New Year's Concert, supported by the "Noi per Napoli" Association. A real journey into the world of music, song and dance between Viennese melodies and Strauss waltzes. The cast of the Trio Lirico made up of the soprano Olga De Maio, Luca and Lucio Lupoli and also the orchestral Ensemble of the "Noi per Napoli" Association, the Aedon String Quartet, the corps de ballet of the Tersicorea Center will be present on stage .
• Augustan theater: "The Dream Factory", Sal Da Vinci, creator and director of the show is also the protagonist alongside the actress Fatima Trotta, successful presenter. The show tells the story of a singer-songwriter forgotten by the world, who lives in an abandoned and dilapidated asylum close to demolition.
• Mediterranean Theater: New Year's Concert by the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti, which this year celebrates its twenty-fifth edition with an original mix full of surprises between classical tradition, great musicals and pop: from Richard Rodgers with his unforgettable The Sound of Music to the Vienna of the Waltzes and of the crackling Polke by Strauss, passing through the fairy-tale Naples of the Canzone del Pescatore and Cicerenella, but also for a particular version of an overwhelming international hit like Mamma Knows Best by the young English singer-songwriter Jessie J and much more.
