Inter presses Fabio Capello: crucial hours for the Nerazzurri bench

Moratti's club is trying everything to convince the trainer of the English national team to sit on the Nerazzurri bench: crucial hours for the choice of the after Leonardo. If Capello refuses (we are one year away from the European Championships), Inter will turn to Gasperini.

Inter presses Fabio Capello: crucial hours for the Nerazzurri bench

Inter want Fabio Capello. He is the favorite Massimo Moratti was referring to yesterday, he is the man to whom the Nerazzurri patron would like to entrust the Benamata bench. But the problem exists, and it's not even that small. Capello is under contract with the English Football Association until 2012, and one year before the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine it is unlikely that he will be able to free himself. Unless it is Pieris' man who takes the decisive step, explicitly asking for the go-ahead from federal leaders. In that case it would be difficult to block him, which is why Inter (in this case Marco Branca, who according to the latest rumors would have joined Capello in his Spanish home in Marbella) are pressing him ferociously. If the go-ahead from the FA arrives (and news is expected in the evening) then there would be no more obstacles. The deal is big, both technically and economically. Capello receives a salary of 8,8 million per season, a figure that Inter should at least equal, if not exceed. In the meantime, Sinisa Mihajlovic's candidacy is perhaps definitively losing ground: on the official Fiorentina website, the coach and the club "reaffirm that the existing professional relationship is not under discussion". Should Capello also miss, only Gasperini would remain, but the feeling is that at Inter they have bet all their chips on Pieris' man.
