Four Italian soldiers of the mission UNIFIL were injured after the base in the south of Lebanon, where they were, was hit by the explosion of two 122-millimeter rockets. The reactions were immediate from Italian government: the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni she says she is "indignant and worried". the minister of World, Antonio Tajani, on the sidelines of the Anci assembly, underlines: “They should be two missiles launched by Hezbollah, what is happening is unacceptable”. “There are no serious injuries – he specifies – we are talking about abrasions, it seems that a lieutenant has light wounds”.
Tajani then continues: “As we said to Israel, we say it with equal firmness to Hezbollah: the Italian military cannot be touched. This organization cannot think of playing with weapons: if they do not know how to use them, they should decide to do something else. If they think they can continue to cause damage to the Italian base, they are wrong”.

I will try to speak with the new Israeli Minister of Defense, which has been impossible since he took office until today, to ask him to avoid using Unifil bases as a shield. Even more intolerable is the presence of terrorists in South Lebanon who are endangering the safety of the blue helmets and the civilian population".
