The kitchen of Aimo and Nadia at the Gallerie d'Italia in Milan: Voce is born

A new catering formula, signed by two sacred monsters of Italian food and wine, complementary to visits to the works of art of the Gallerie d'Italia but also to meeting opportunities in the center of Milan

The kitchen of Aimo and Nadia at the Gallerie d'Italia in Milan: Voce is born

Aimo and Nadia, the excellence of Italian catering, two Michelin stars and Gallerie d'Italia of Intesa Sanpaolo launch a new space in Milan, “YOU”, a new place of conviviality and sharing in the heart of Milan that overlooks Piazza della Scala capable of feeding the ferment of one of the most vital areas of the city where culture and gastronomy meet, giving life to an ambitious project that is in three moments there café, bookshop and gourmet restaurant.

In the complex owned by Intesa Sanpaolo, home to the museum complex with offices in Milan, Naples and Vicenza, created with the aim of sharing with visitors a selection of its art heritage, around 30.000 works inherited from the over 250 banks that have merged into the Group , VOCE is proposed as an original food and wine and cultural experience complementary to a visit to the Gallerie d'Italia with a menu that arises from the strong link with the territory and from the close relationship with the many producers of our peninsula.

If the historic duo Aimo and Nadia Moroni has been synonymous for over 50 years with a unique culinary proposal based on a vision of contemporary Italian cuisine, today that philosophy has passed the baton to Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisani, under the direction of Stefania Moroni . An example of Italian know-how in the catering and hospitality sector. Alessandro Negrini comes from the experience of Il posto di Aimo e Nadia where he arrived in 2005 after a one-year interlude, bringing Fabio Pisani with him together with the desire to undertake a project with the Moroni family to build the future of the new generation of Il Luogo . Fabio Pisani for his part comes from experiences in great European fashion houses such as the Grand Véfour in Paris, the Waterside Inn in London and in Italy in the multi-starred Dal Pescatore in Canneto sull'Oglio.

“In these years – he comments Michael Coppola, Intesa Sanpaolo Central Director of Art, Culture and Historic Heritage – the initiatives of the Gallerie d'Italia met with the consent and enthusiasm of many visitors, also thanks to a constant search for originality, experimentation and exploration of new languages. VOCE completes the offer in Piazza Scala, in perfect synergy with a reality, Aimo and Nadia, which is tradition but at the same time innovation”.

Stefania moroni, at the head of the family business for more than 30 years, declares herself “enthusiastic and proud to be an integral part of a unique and ambitious project in which food, culture and art intertwine. Confirming the strong sensitivity to the world of art that has always distinguished us ”.

“VOCE was designed to be a versatile and multifunctional space. In fact, our goal is to become a new point of reference for the city of Milan, in a context rich in history and culture” says Alessandro Negrini who, together with Fabio Pisani, intends to re-propose the historical creed of the house: that of an Italian regional table revisited, always based on excellence and respect for products, even when fashions were different. Values universally shared today, but which saw one of their cradles in via Montecuccoli and which we find again – as the Michelin Guide writes – in the hands of the two “disciples” with exciting, sometimes memorable interpretations”.
