The international vocation of the Italian Palate sees in recent weeks the company, which has always been committed to enhancing the Italian food and wine culture, present both in the United Kingdom and in the United States.
The prestigious Royal Automobile Club wanted Il Palato Italiano to be the star of a four-day Italian cuisine event at the Club's London headquarters. Founded in 1897, it is one of the first Clubs in the world with exclusive access reserved for its members.
The Club decided to celebrate the reopening of the Great Gallery, its most important hall, following recent restoration works with a unique event; hence the invitation addressed to the Italian Palate: its cuisine will delight Members from lunch on March 9th to the gala dinner scheduled for Sunday March 12th.
Thus the Executive Chef Filippo Sinisgalli: “An honor for us but also a pride to be so appreciated in the world. It's not me who has to talk about my cuisine, I prefer instead to underline how everyone's commitment and the frantic search for excellent quality raw materials give us reason and strength to continue exploring our immense agri-food heritage. Getting to know the producers and their techniques one by one, listening to the stories of what are often small family secrets and ancient traditions makes us grow together and walk side by side”.
Il Palato Italiano wanted to call Italy Out of Italy the experiences it offers abroad because – as the property represented by Luciano Bertani says – “it doesn't matter how far you are from the peninsula, that evening you will be taken to Italy. There is more than the taste of the exquisite dishes, there is a delight for the mind and the heart also thanks to passionate stories about Italian know-how”.
Before arriving in London, Il Palato Italiano was the great protagonist overseas of a long business trip that began on 20 February and ended on 3 March. The entire kitchen brigade with the Executive Chef and the Sommelier flew first to New York and then to Los Angeles to bring the same idea just described in its most intimate dimension Italy Out of Italy – Your Private Food Experience: that is, entering directly to the homes of those who request it, in this case actors and celebrities from the star system.
However, the opportunity to be in Los Angeles at the end of February saw the Italian company get talked about even during a two-day pre-Oscar gift lounge held together with GBK Productions: the Chef delighted the palates of many actors Hollywood fans who entertained themselves pleasantly in the space of the Palato Italiano, first of all the beautiful and talented Viola Davis (in the photo by prweb) who later won the Oscar for best supporting actress.
