Furla: revenues up 30% in 2015

The Bolognese fashion brand has recorded revenue growth of 126% in the last 5 years – The turnover target of 500 million is approaching – 2016 new openings are planned for 35.

Furla: revenues up 30% in 2015

The growth of the brand continues Furla, which is one step closer to the long-term goal of reaching 500 million euros in annual revenues. The fashion brand of the Furlanetta family, in fact, closed 2015 with a turnover up 30% to 339 million euro. In the period 2010-2015 Furla recorded a 126% increase in revenues.

In the last year, the brand has recorded good growth in all areas: +53% in Asia-Pacific, +30% in the United States, +28% in Europe-Middle East (excluding Italy), +24% in Japan, +21% in Italy (which represents 20% of turnover). Sixty-two new stores were opened in 2015, bringing the total number of Furla single-brand boutiques to 415. On a like-for-like basis, in any case, sales grew by 23%. For 2016, however, 35 new openings are planned.
 
Satisfied the CEO of the group Eraldo Poletto: “This progression is the result of the work done over the last five years. We have to work on the brand and on the extension of profit: all this will allow us to quickly reach our goal of 500 million in revenues”.
