Tages Capital Sgr announces that it has closed the funding of Tages Helios, an alternative real estate fund entirely dedicated to investments in the photovoltaic sector in Italy, at 253 million. This is one of the largest collections created by an infrastructural "first time fund", both at an Italian and international level.
Tages Helios attracted the interest of leading institutional investors who appreciated the quality of the assets acquired and the management's ability to improve their prospective yield, already above 8% to date.
75% of total funding comes from leading insurance companies, 10% from pension funds and social security funds, 7% from banking foundations, 3% from banking institutions, another 3% from qualified private investors and about 2% from management.
Among the new subscribers are Aviva and Equiter, a company dedicated to 'mission related' investments and owned by the Compagnia di San Paolo, the CRT Foundation and by Intesa Sanpaolo.
Tages Helios is already invested for approximately 60% of total funding. To date, with a portfolio of 60 plants and a total installed capacity of 157 MW, it is the third largest operator in the photovoltaic sector in Italy.
