Banco Bpm, 535 million for Unipolsai's stake in Popolare Vita

The entire reorganization process of the Bancassurance sector will entail a total outlay of 788 million for Banco Bpm, in any case lower than the amount collected for the sale of Cattolica Assicurazioni.

a total outlay of 788 million for the repurchase of the equity investments in Popolare Vita from UnipolSai and of Avipop Assicurazioni from Aviva Italia Holding, therefore lower than the proceeds of €853,4m deriving instead from the sale of the equity investments to Cattolica Assicurazioni, announced on 3 November 2017, with a result positive overall capital impact quantified as 11 bps on the fully phased CET 1 ratio.

On Wednesday, in a complicated morning for Piazza Affari, which opens the eighth consecutive session downwards with the FtseMib losing almost one percentage point, the Banco Bpm share dropped by about 0,5% to 2,652 euros per share.
