Banca Passadore, record 2022 profit: +14,5% to 35 million. Dividend confirmed

Rain of profits for Passador Bank. The institute closed the 2022 with a net balance sheet profit of 35 million euro, further growing (+14,4%) compared to the already sharp rise of the previous year. The result, obtained despite the uncertain context, is the best in the bank's history for the sixth consecutive year and places it at the top in Italy in terms of profitability (ROE is 15,2%). The dividend proposed to the Shareholders' Meeting is confirmed at 0,50 euro per share.

Banca Passadore: growth in all balance sheet aggregates in 2022

I deposits amount to 4,198 billion (+13,2%), total assets under administration to 9,644 billion (+3,3%) and loans to 2,082 billion (+1,1%). The ratio between net non-performing loans and total loans stood at 1,4% with a coverage ratio of over 55%, indices that denote one of the best credit quality in the country, also taking into account that the Bank has never carried out any sale of non-performing loans.

The capital ratio "CET 1 ratio" is equal to 13,4%, well above the corresponding minimum capital requirements set by the Bank of Italy.

The excellent ones results, explains a note, concerned all three sectors of the bank's activity: private banking, operational services and credit intermediation. The latter, in particular, was able to benefit from the normalization of the reference interest rates, which returned positive after the anomalous and long period of permanence in negative territory.

Investments

The Bank continues with significant investments in digitization and in sustainability of environmental tourism. As defined in the Strategic Plan, over 10 million euros of investments have been allocated in 2022: the redevelopment and elevation works of the Genoa headquarters continued, which will allow the building to be more energy efficient through innovative technologies and the use of renewable sources with an environmental impact low or none.
