Banca Intermobiliare (Bim), the rally continues: +60% in three days

Banca Intermobiliare never stops. A few minutes after the opening of Piazza Affari, the share rose by 9,5% to 0,46 euro. A percentage that expands the gains made by Bim shares since the beginning of the week: from Monday the balance is +61,1%, +42,2% from the beginning of September.

With the flame of the last three days therefore, Bim recovers the losses accumulated in the previous three months. The new 2019-2021 strategic plan, approved by the board of directors on 6 September with the aim of relaunching the institute as the primary independent operator in private banking, is driving the prices of the Turin bank.

A milestone that follows the completion of the derisking - with the sale of non-performing loans and real estate assets - and the capital strengthening (which includes a capital increase of 91 million which will have to be approved by the extraordinary shareholders' meeting set for 28 September and which already received the green light from Bank of Italy).

In detail, the plan envisages a return on assets of 0,95% in 2021 and a rationalization of expenses aimed at bringing the cost/income ratio back to 81% in three years.
