The group ended 2013 with profits and revenues up on 2012 – Ferraris, CEO of the Italian fashion and clothing company, expects "a further positive result" for 2014.

“We started 2014 with great enthusiasm and we expect a further positive result”. This was stated by Gian Giacomo Ferraris, CEO of the Versace group. L'Italian fashion and clothing company closed 2013 with profit and revenues up sharply and sees further expansion in 2014.

The 2013 Ebitda amounted to 71 million euros, an increase of 59,7% compared to 2012; net profit at 10,9 million, up 27,6%; revenues rose 17,2% to $479,2 million, according to a company statement.

Retail sales achieved through Versace stores increased by 19,2% to 267,6 million, wholesale sales by 16,6% to 174,1 million, royalties by 7,4% to 37,5 million.

The US market recorded a growth of 32,2%, the Asian market of 18,5% (+13% in China), Europe of 8,1%.
