"Out of 407 non-seasonal hirings planned by companies in 2012, 77 will be explicitly 'reserved' for women: about 19 hires out of 100. The ratio is among the highest in the last seven years, and is up on the previous two years".
This was announced by the President of Unioncamere, Ferruccio Dardanello, in his speech at the study seminar on the reform of the labor market, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies in Rome, citing data from the Excelsior information system.
“Unioncamere – continued Dardanello – is also working on the signing of a new memorandum of understanding which involves, in addition to the Ministry of Economic Development, also the Ministry of Labour. The protocol, which we hope will be signed by 2012, must be an opportunity to strengthen the precious collaboration that has already existed for some time with the Ministry of Labour, for the benefit of employment”.
