Unicredit sells non-performing loans for over 200 million

UniCredit has concluded an agreement with MBCredit Solutions for the sale without recourse of a portfolio of non-performing loans deriving from unsecured credit agreements with customers in the consumer segment. The portfolio exclusively includes receivables deriving from loan agreements governed by Italian law for one total amount - gross of value adjustments - of approximately 124 million euro. The impact of the sale will be reflected in the second quarter 2018 financial statements.

UniCredit and MBCS have also reached an agreement for the sale of non-performing loans of the same type for an indicative amount of approximately €80 million, which will be generated starting from the second quarter of 2018 until the end of the year. The agreement forms part of UniCredit's current NPE reduction strategy.
