A magnitude 4.2 quake was felt today, Wednesday 25 April, in Molise. This was announced by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, according to which the earthquake was recorded at 11.48 with the epicenter in Acquaviva Collecroce (Campobasso) at a depth of 31 kilometres. Witnesses of the earthquake in San Giacomo degli Schiavoni are in tears and have all run away from home. The shock was also felt in Abruzzo up to Pescara.
The police forces, firefighters and civil protection are carrying out checks: at the moment no damage has been reported.
Another earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was recorded at 3:08 between Muccia and Pieve Torina, in the province of Macerata. According to the findings of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv), the earthquake had a hypocenter at a depth of 7 km.
