Terna, revenues on the rise: +2,6% in 2011

The group active in the energy sector publishes the consolidated data for 2011 – Cattaneo: “Solid group, we look to the future”.

The Board of Directors of Terna has published the preliminary consolidated data for 2011. Revenues exceeded 1.630 million euros, up 2,6% compared to 2010. The gross operating margin (Ebitda) also grew by 4 percentage points, amounting to over 1220 million euros.

Investments in traditional activities exceeded 1.200 million euros, up 5% on the previous year, around 930 million of which were spent on development projects. Net financial debt at the end of 2011 was approximately 5.100 million euro.

The CEO Flavio Cattaneo commented the results with satisfaction: “Confirmed the industrial strength and financial solidity of the group. Even in an unfavorable macroeconomic moment, investments that have generated employment have not been renounced”. Terna "looks to the future with confidence" and aims to grow with "the new industrial strategies that will be illustrated in the coming weeks".
