The agreement between the French Bank and the Spanish Caixa, according to a note, is a concerted action, which leads Société Générale to launch the offer on the shares not yet owned by the parties at the unit price of 12 euros.

Société Générale announced its intention to launch a takeover bid on the online brokerage bank Boursorama, after signing a shareholders' agreement with the Spanish company Caixa. 

To date, the French bank holds 56% of Boursorama, while the Iberian bank holds 21%. The agreement between the two partners, reads a note, is a concerted action, which leads Société Générale to launch the offer on the shares not yet owned by the parties at the unit price of 12 euros. 

"The strengthening of Société Générale in the capital of Boursorama, leader in online banking in France, is part of the group's desire to continue to grow in this market", underlines the French company.
