Maxi call for Toyota. The Japanese auto giant has ordered 1,75 million vehicles to be returned to base due to brake and fuel injection problems. The vehicles in question were not intended for a single market: they are spread all over the world.
The company specified that there were no accidents, but that the defects found could cause "a progressive deterioration in the performance of the brakes" with the risk of fire, in the worst cases.
Models recalled include Crown sedans, Lexus and Noah minivans. This is the fourth car recall since the beginning of the year for Toyota.
