The prepaid card Postepay becomes completely digital. In the sense that the novelty is that the payment instrument can now be requested simply and quickly directly from your smartphone or tablet thanks to the Postepay App, and allows you to take advantage of the main functions of PostePay prepaid cards.

"Perfect for a world that is accelerating its race towards a cashless and increasingly digital future", explains a press release from Poste Italiane, the new Postepay Digital in fact allows you to make online payments and top-ups and take advantage of all the services available in the Postepay App (such as payment for transport or the possibility of sharing expenses with friends thanks to "p2p"). It also allows you to pay by scanning a QR code in participating shops or with Google Pay for owners of an enabled Android smartphone.

It is also possible to implement Postepay Digital requesting an IBAN code to make and receive transfers, credit the salary or domicile the utilities. If you choose to evolve the card by associating the IBAN, you will also have the opportunity to request a physical card, which will allow you to withdraw cash from any ATM and pay in all shops affiliated with the Mastercard circuit. Postepay Digital issuing costs and the first annual fee are free for the whole of 2020.

All the "evolution" of Postepay Digital (the change from digital card without IBAN to digital card with IBAN and the change from digital card with IBAN to physical card), explains Poste, can also be requested after activating the card.
