A new wind farm in Spain for Enel Green Power

For 51 Aragonese families, it will be a farewell to CO2 emissions. A few kilometers from Zaragoza, in Aguilòn, a wind farm will be built which will produce 139.300 megawatt hours each year. The Aguilòn plant is equipped with 25 G-87 wind turbines of 2 MW each, for an annual saving of 51 tons of oil equivalent. The second phase of the Portuguese wind farm of Alvaiareze was also launched, which will bring production capacity to 21,2 million kilowatt hours. In the Iberian Peninsula, Enel Green Power operates through Enel Green Power España, whose shareholders are Enel (60%) and the Spanish Endesa (40%). With this new plant, another 50MW of installed power is added to the 225 existing in Aragon and to the 1518 MW of renewable energies active in the Iberian Peninsula.
