The pension advance (Ape) can be requested from next year starting from 63 years old, so with an advance of 3 years and 7 months with respect to the old age pension. This is the novelty that emerged from the technical meeting on pensions between the undersecretary of the Prime Minister, Tommaso Nannicini, and the trade unions.
The experimentation "will last two years to see how much the tool is used and how it will work," said Maurizio Petriccioli of the CISL.
As for resources, "the government has not yet established what they will be", but it was reiterated that "the Ape will be free of charge for disadvantaged categories with a net pension threshold of 1.200 euros".
The three years and seven months in advance “represent the mediation point reached today – Petriccioli explained again -, we had asked for four years”.
The final package, in any case, “is not defined yet, we continue to work and on the 21st there will be the final meeting“, reported the trade union representatives at the end of today's appointment.
