Penati under investigation for bribes by the Monza prosecutor's office

The Monza prosecutor's office has opened an investigation against the vice president of the Lombardy regional council Filippo Penati (Pd), under investigation for alleged offenses in the management of the Falck area of ​​Sesto San Giovanni. The investigation coordinated by prosecutors Walter Mapelli and Franca Macchia was born in the context of the one on the failure to reclaim the Santa Giulia area. The charge concerns four billion lire in bribes, paid in the years 2001-2002 to facilitate the release of certain concessions or to set up the local government plan according to specific criteria.
