Open Fiber has connected about 6 housing units in Caserta to ultra-fast fiber. The company communicates it in a note, specifying that the connection speed can reach one gigabyte per second.
“Six months after the start of construction sites – reads the press release – Open Fiber has opened the marketing of ultra-fast fiber services in a large part of the northern area of the city. The districts concerned are in particular those in the vicinity of the hospital area and Puccianiello. The goal is to reach 35 homes, shops and offices included in the cabling plan in FTTH (Fiber To The Home) mode".
Open Fiber does not sell services to the end customer, but is active exclusively in the wholesale market. The main Open Fiber partner operators, together with some local providers, are already marketing services on the ultra-fast network created in the municipality of Caserta.
