Unemployment falls in the OECD area. In April, the jobless rate fell to 8,1%, 0,1% less than the previous month. Fewer unemployed also in Italy. In our country, yes, the rate slipped to 8,1%, compared to 8,3% in March. Also down in France, from 9,5% to 9,4%, in Germany, from 6,2% to 6,1%, and in Canada, from 7,7 to 7,6%. This is what the international organization based in Paris communicates in a note, recalling that the recovery process on this front began last October. In all, there are 44,1 million unemployed in the OECD area, 3,1 million less than in April 2010, 13,2 million more than three years ago. Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Slovenia and the United States are the only countries where there was an increase in the rate in April. Unemployment stable in the Eurozone, where it remains at 9,9%, while in the EU it drops to 9,4% from the previous 9,5%.
