Another hacker attack. This time, however, it does not concern Italian healthcare but the group's IT systems MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group and its national centers, including Mediaworld Italy. The company has informed the Milanese postal police to identify the virus responsible for blocking the computer systems and put an end to the matter.
“In the shops, which have always remained open to the public and operational, there could be restricted access to some services. MediaMarktSaturn is actively working to ensure that all services are available again without limitation as soon as possible. The company will provide information on further developments on the subject,” the company said in a statement.
According to the Dutch site Rtl Nieuws the attack began between 7 and 8 November and it would be a satinware, or a real ransom to release the computer systems, implemented by the Hive group which seems to have set the figure for the release of the Mediaworld platform for 50 million in cryptocurrency, but the news has yet to be confirmed by the company.

However, the most important cyber attack in recent months was the one launched on the Lazio region in the night between 31 July and 1 August by hackers to the data center that housed the company's computer systems, compromising the use of the site, services and application tools present. The problems created by the cyber attack were not few in those days, first of all the impossibility of booking the vaccine against Covid and the assignment of the Green Pass once it was carried out.
