Start a long-lasting and structured collaboration to protect legality, combat criminal infiltration and safety in the workplace and on the construction sites of the infrastructural works managed by the company. This is the objective of the agreement signed by the General Commander of the Carabinieri, General CA Teo Luzi, and by the managing director of the FS Italiane Group, Luigi Ferraris, which is placed in the context of the investments envisaged by National recovery and resilience plan and from the complementary national fund for the construction and renewal of infrastructure works and the fleet of FS trains.
In detail, the agreement provides for activities to verify compliance with the legislation on the placement of labour, social security and safety in the workplace; prevention and contrast of the phenomenon of criminal infiltration, also through the control of construction sites for the construction of infrastructural works of the Group; prevention and contrast of environmental violations, also connected to infiltration of organized crime in the activities of execution of the works that can constitute forms of environmental pollution.
Furthermore, on the basis of the agreement, FS will be able to promote and organise, with the collaboration of experts from the Carabinieri, meetings, seminars and training courses for its employees.
