One in three students succeeded in find work abroad after participating in training programs outside the Italian borders. They are between 18 and 20 years old (84,53%), live permanently in Italy (95%), mainly in the North (52,71%) and in the Center (27,75%), in most cases (63% ) are women, have an overall medium-high level of education: 52,2% obtained a five-year school diploma and 19,6% a higher technician diploma, are full-time students (67,5%) and attend a third level course (12,4% ITS, 59,9% three-year degree course, 6,5% specialist/single-cycle degree course). These are the results of the survey "on transactional mobility and businesses" which photographs the world Erasmus + in our country.
Erasmus+: over 8 projects presented in Italy in 5 years
In 2022 INAPP received as many as 457 project proposals for individual mobility for learning purposes (+35% compared to 2021) as well as 195 applications for the development of Partnerships for Cooperation, against a budget for this year of approximately 60 million euros for the education and vocational training sector. From 2014 to today, 5.565 projects have been presented in Italy for the education and vocational training sector, in particular 3.432 for Mobility (of which 1.050 financed) and 2.133 for Strategic Partnerships and Partnerships for Cooperation (of which 365 financed). Significant is the investment of the European Commission and the EU Member States which have made available to Italy, in the period 2014-2022, an Erasmus+ financial envelope that exceeds 415 million euros for the decentralized actions of the vocational education and training sectormanaged by Inapp.
“With about 53 participants in transnational mobility experiences from 2014 to today, the Erasmus+ National Agency Inapp confirms that it has achieved important results in the education and professional training segment of the Program – explained the president of Inapp, prof. Sebastiano Fadda – making, with some of the projects financed this year, a significant contribution to the theme of European Vocational Skills Week 2022 dedicated to the contribution of Erasmus+ to the green transition, in line with the attention dedicated by the European Commission to responding to the challenges of climate change through the European Green DealI".
Finally, the data tell of an extremely positive result in terms of inclusion: in the period 2014-2020 the Erasmus+ program allowed the involvement in the mobility projects financed by the Inapp Agency of around 8 thousand subjects with fewer opportunities or 10,7% of the total number of participants, recording a significant increase in recent years.
