The one between Venice and Fabrizio Plessi it is an ancient and deep bond, like the one that binds Generali to the lagoon city and to one of its symbols, the Teatro La Fenice. And now, for the first time, The Phoenix, from historic and very famous opera and ballet venue, becomes an artistic space for a performance by Maestro Fabrizio Plessi, one of the founding fathers of video art, known and appreciated all over the world, thanks to an initiative promoted by Generali Italia through the Value Culture program.

A special, incomparable and unrepeatable combination made possible also thanks to the support of Generali which will allow, from 26 July to 6 August 2017, to experience the experimental work Fenix ​​DNA by Fabrizio Plessi.

An initiative promoted by Generali in Italy through the Valore Cultura programme, produced by the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice, in collaboration with Arthemisia which will allow – from 26 July to 6 August 2017 – to experience the experimental work Fenix ​​DNA by Fabrizio Plessi.

The primordial and primitive elements of water and fire have always been at the center of Plessi's artistic research which, also on this occasion, will express itself through what characterizes its DNA, uniting and merging it with that of La Fenice, thanks to 200 casts – never seen before – designed and modeled by the Venetian Guerrino Lovato, as prototypes of the sculptures and ornate bas-reliefs of the cavea of ​​the theatre, destroyed by a terrible fire in 1996 and which reopened its doors, in all its magnificence, in December of 2003.

For Venetian citizens, the possibility of admiring the experimental work for free over two days was guaranteed: 28 and 29 July.
