Juve-ultrà, Agnelli risks 2,5 years

The head of the FIGC prosecutor's office Giuseppe Pecoraro has asked for two and a half years of inhibition for Andrea Agnelli. The President of Juve is in fact involved in the trial linked to the affair relating to the relations between the number one of the Turin club and the Juventus ultras.

In addition to the disqualification requested for Agnelli, the Public Prosecutor's Office has asked for two matches behind closed doors for Juve, one match with only the south curve closed and a 300 euro fine for the club's direct liability.

Agnelli was referred by the federal prosecutor for the alleged violation of articles 1 bis (sporting loyalty) and 12 (relations with fans) of the Code of sports justice. Together with him, the Juventus club itself is also involved for direct responsibility, the former commercial director of the club Francesco Calvo and the manager of the ticket office Stefano Merulla.

The Juventus number one will be present in the courtroom and has already admitted to having met the ultras as president as fans and to having sold (and not given away) some blocks of tickets to the groups (and not four at a time as required by the law).

After the postponement of last May 26, the process enters the second phase. The number one of the Turin club is present at the trial assisted by the lawyers Luigi Chiappero and Franco Coppi.
