The July survey, even if the Istat data are still provisional, indicates a stagnant situation: slight variations in unemployment rates, both at a cyclical level and at a trend level.
The parameter (July) stands at 8,0%, with no changes compared to the previous month; on an annual basis the rate fell by 0,3 percentage points. The percentage of young unemployed fell to 27,6%, with a cyclical decrease of 0,2 points.
The employment rate stands at 56,9%, as in the previous two months, and is stable both in comparison with the economic situation and in trend terms.
