Intesa Sanpaolo triumphs over Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024: through the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, led by Mauro Micillo, Intesa Sanpaolo was awarded as best best Investment Bank e best bank for companies in Italy.
Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024: all the Intesa awards
The recognition of best Investment Bank for Italy assigned to Intesa Sanpaolo by Euromoney is based on two distinctive elements: stability ed efficiency. Stability refers to the bank's ability to generate value in a constant and continuous manner, maintaining a prominent position compared to other players in the Italian market. Efficiency, however, has allowed the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division to grow and adapt effectively to a complex context, characterized by significant staff cuts in the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) structures of its competitors.
The IMI CIB Division also received the recognition of best Bank for Companies for services provided via Inbiz, the corporate banking platform. In 2023, Inbiz saw a 10,4% increase in new contracts. This digital portal, designed for businesses operating in Italy and abroad, offers advanced solutions to optimize treasury flows and cash and transaction banking services, for both domestic and international operations.
The Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024 also recognized several banks of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, belonging to the International Subsidiary Banks Division. In particular, Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ) was designated Best Bank in Croatia, VUB Bank as Best Bank in Slovakia and Banca Intesa Beograd received three awards: Best Bank, Best Bank for Business and Best Bank for ESG in Serbia .
