At the basis of the exploit there would be the newfound hunger for houses, further fueled in this period by the exceptionally low rates of the ECB's Qe: this is favoring a real comeback for the real estate stocks of Piazza Affari. Yesterday alone, Gabetti gained 18,8%, Risanamento 15,2% and Prelios 9,9%.
But that's not all: since the beginning of March Risanamento is up by 37,7% (+85% since the beginning of 2015), Prelios by 14,6%, Gabetti by 26%. The latter had suffered a heavy loss during 2014: in March it was worth almost 2 euros per share, while thanks to the recent recovery it has once again exceeded the euro threshold, at €1,135 per share. Prelios is also recovering after a continuous decline in 2014, interspersed only with a partial recovery in November.
