"We are incredibly happy to be able to inaugurate the space, the first of its kind in the world" said James Elias, Google's marketing director. The Mountain View giant is launching a new Apple challenge by inaugurating a single-brand store in London where visitors will be able to touch Google products first-hand.

“Inside a Google store – continues Elias – we offer people a place to test, experience and learn what we have to offer them: from an incredible range of devices to a fully connected online life. We think it's a great try-before-you-buy experience.” In the first Google shop in the world, located on Tottenham Court Road, inside Currys PC World, customers will be able to see and buy Android smartphones and tablets, Chromebook laptops, Chromecasts and other Google-branded products.

Two days after the presentation of the latest Apple product, the AppleWatch, its main rival, Google responds by opening a flagship store in the heart of London. Furthermore, according to the declarations of the Mountein View giant, the single-brand store will be truly innovative. Inside there is a huge screen "wraparound that will allow customers to fly from one part of the globe thanks to Google Earth" and a wall where customers can redesign the Google logo with spray cans and then share it on the channels social.
