Generali, Mediobanca re-candidate Galateri and Donnet

Mediobanca presented its list of candidates for the board of directors of Generali. They are among the 13 names Philippe Donnet e Gabriele Galateri of Genola, today respectively CEO and president of Leone. The appointments are on the agenda of the meeting convened for 30 April, 3 and 7 May.

Piazzetta Cuccia's list "reflects the recommendations expressed by the Board in office last February - reads a note - contained in the Opinion for guidance to shareholders on the size and composition of the Board of Directors for the three-year period 2019-2021, including attendance with a view to implementing the new strategic plan approved by the Council last November".

In addition to Donnet and Galateri di Genola, the list includes Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone, Clemente Rebecchini, Romolo Bardin, Lorenzo Pellicioli, Sabrina Pucci, Alberta Figari, Diva Moriani, Paolo Di Benedetto, Antonella Mei-Pochtler, Maurizio Dattilo and Barbara Negri.

Mediobanca "addresses a heartfelt thanks to Ornella Barra - continues the note - who was unable to renew her candidacy due to her increased managerial commitments at Walgreens Boots Alliance".

As for Antonella Mei-Pochtler, her profile "reflects, among other things, the indication of the Board of Assicurazioni Generali to strengthen the Board's international experience and skills in the technological and digital fields", concludes Mediobanca.
