Fortech Group Welcomes Perwyn and Gruppo Scouting to Capital to Drive Innovation and International Growth

Fortech Group, an Italian company based in Rimini specialized in point-of-sale software solutions and technological services for fuel stations and electric vehicle (EV) charging points, announces the entry of new investors in the capital: Perwyn, a European private equity fund that acquires 30% of the holding company Fortech Group Srl, and the Scouting Group, which participates in the operation through the holding company Scouting Investments Spa and the closed-end fund SCI 1, a vehicle dedicated exclusively to this investment. five founding members of Fortech — Piersergio Avagliano, Massimo Banci, Carlo Perico, Jonny Tosi and Marco Vasini — maintain the control operational and strategic, continuing to lead the company.

Perwyn and Scouting Group Invest in Fortech

Founded in 2006, Fortech currently serves over 14 service stations, establishing itself as a point of reference in e-mobility thanks to highly automated outdoor payment solutions. With a team of 175 highly specialized professionals in the IT sector, the company has consolidated its leadership in Italy, extending its presence also in Spain, Portugal and France.

The entry of Perwyn and Scouting Group aims to provide new resources to invest in  innovationtecnologica and speed up international expansion, strengthening Fortech's positioning in traditional and emerging electric mobility markets.

This is the first direct investment in Italy for Perwyn, which operates in Europe supporting the growth and transformation of medium-sized companies with a focus on internationalization and professionalization. Similarly, for the Scouting Group – active in the Corporate Finance, Family Office and Club Deals sectors – this operation represents the first initiative in Italy, integrating its offer with the growth strategy shared with Perwyn.

Parties involved in the transaction

The operation involved several professionals e company specialized. For the Perwyn fund, Yann Chareton (Senior Managing Partner Italy), Mathieu Antonini (Partner), Maxime Menu (Investment Director), Taylor Desaunois and Gianluca Tomassini (Investment Associates) participated. Scouting Investments SpA was represented by Rinaldo Sassi (Group CEO), Chiara Venezia (Managing Director) and Gianluca Maia (Investment Manager).

La financial due diligence was managed by Alvarez & Marsal, with Giorgio Perconti (Managing Director) and Davide Taglietti (Senior Director), while the strategic due diligence was managed by Goetzpartners/Fortlane Partners, with Giovanni Calia (Partner and Managing Director), Michele Zanin (Partner) and Vlatko Atanasov (Senior Consultant). Legal and tax aspects were followed by several studi: NCTM conducted the legal and tax due diligence and acted as legal advisor to Perwyn, with Fabio Pizzoccheri (Partner), Barbara Aloisi (Partner) and Lorenzo Foot (Managing Associate). BonelliErede advised Scouting Investments SpA, represented by Marco Dell'Antonia (Partner) and Jacopo Taddei (Managing Associate). The SCI 1 fund was advised by Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici, with Raffaele Sansone (Partner) and Floriana Sarra (Associate). Fortech received legal advice from NCTM, with Pietro Zanoni (Partner) and Natali Prodan (Associate).
