Eni has left Snam: 8,22% of the capital has been handed over to bondholders

The 1,25 billion convertible bond placed in January 2013 expired on Monday. Almost all of the bondholders exercised their right to convert into shares. Now the six-legged dog has only 0,02% of Snam's capital left

Eni leaves Snam. The group announced that, "in line with the provisions for the repayment of the bond convertible into ordinary shares of Snam SpA for € 1.250.000.000 and coupon of 0,625% placed in January 2013" and expired today, Monday 18 January, " 287.890.983 Snam ordinary shares were delivered to the bondholders – equal to approximately 8,22% of the share capital – against the exercise by the bondholders of the right to convert bonds for a total amount of €1.246.600.000 ”.

The remaining bonds, for a total amount of €3.400.000, for which the conversion right was not exercised, were repaid in cash.

At this point Eni "holds 792.619 Snam ordinary shares, equal to approximately 0,02% of the share capital".
