D7-Donne al Quadrato, the free financial education course dedicated to women, will start on Thursday 2 March in the city of Reggio Emilia. The initiative, created by the Global Thinking Foundation, a non-profit foundation that promotes financial literacy projects and initiatives, in collaboration with Assiom Forex, the Italian association of financial operators, and carried out with the collaboration of Credem and the Order of Chartered Accountants and of the Reggio Emilia Accounting Experts, is dedicated to women who have experienced events linked to situations of economic isolation, veterans of divorce or domestic violence, who wish to return to being protagonists and get out of social and work exclusion.
The series of meetings will be held in the Auditorium of the Credem headquarters in Palazzo Spalletti Trivelli, via Emilia San Pietro 4, and in the Conference Room of Palazzo Fonte, in via Emilia San Pietro 12. Claudia Segre, President of the Global Thinking Foundation, declared : "We are thrilled to return to such a strategic city as Reggio Emilia, with our D2 project - Women squared, which is responding to a multiplicity of requests on the national territory, from North to South, confirming a widespread sensitivity to literacy issues financial. The project involves a team of 30 women who, thanks to their experience in the world of finance, have made themselves available to hold free financial education courses for the benefit of other women who are experiencing a moment of difficulty and wish to get back into the game."

The proposal that we wanted to address to all citizens is that of a training course for the professional planning of a female enterprise at the time of the sharing economy. We believe in the female entrepreneurial value and we are convinced that the meetings will help the participants to be able to embark on a new career or business path. We like to underline – continues Salvarani – that it has now been demonstrated that gender diversity in companies creates value: the entry of women into the governance of companies, certainly favored by the Golfo Mosca law, increases the profitability of the companies themselves. and professionals.”
