From Kluivert to Chiesa, in football everyone is crazy about children of art

In Serie A (but not only) the trend of young footballers sons of great champions of the 90s is raging: Patrick's 19-year-old son has already conquered Rome, while in France here are the sons of Weah and Thuram – VIDEO.

From Kluivert to Chiesa, in football everyone is crazy about children of art

The charge of the heirs of the “90s”. In reality some of the guys we are talking about, the rising stars of football, were born in the 2000s, but they are all children of the champions of the 90s generation: from Kluivert to Weah, from Di Francesco to Thuram, without forgetting Chiesa, Simeone , and a somewhat sui generis son of art, because his father was not a well-known footballer but the Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi. His son Francesco, 17, has just signed with Udinese: next 15 September he will be part of the team that will participate in the Spring championship.

On the other hand, there are those who are already in the first team and have been among the protagonists of Serie A for some time, such as Federico Chiesa, son of Enrico, who at the age of 20 (he will turn 21 in October) is about to start his third season in the top Italian championship: all with the Fiorentina shirt, the team his father played for from 1999 to 2002. Ditto for Federico Di Francesco, son of Roma coach Eusebio, who after two seasons in Bologna has started his new adventure at Sassuolo in a great way, with a victory in the first league match against Inter.

Di Francesco was born in 1994, while 5 years younger and not yet 20 years old is the new star of Roma, Justin Kluivert, son of the Dutch champion Patrick, whom he resembles like a drop of water even if on the pitch, compared to his father, he is much more agile and faster and prefers a winger position (Patrick was center forward for Ajax, Milan and Barcelona). Instead, he is twenty-three years old Giovanni Simeone, also known for some time in the football news and recently also awarded by coach Scaloni with the first call-up to the Argentine national team. In fact, Giovanni has an Italian name but he was born in Buenos Aires and is Argentinian like his father Diego, former star of the Albiceleste and now highly appreciated coach of Atletico Madrid.

Born in 1997, just turned twenty-one: in this case we are talking about Marcus Thuram, son of the unforgettable defender of Parma and Juventus, world champion with France in 1998 and currently a writer committed to the rights of minorities. Marcus still has nothing to do with Serie A, he plays in France for Guingamp, but he was born in Parma and a few days ago, on the occasion of the match against PSG, he even swapped shirts with Gigi Buffon. He is also among Buffon's teammates in Paris Timothy Weah, who came of age this year (born in 2000), US nationality and striker role, like his father George, Ballon d'Or winner in 1995 and currently president of Liberia.
