Located at Type Data CenterA fast-growing, state-of-the-art internet hub, the new Helsinki PoP follows Stockholm in the region and will meet the strong demand for IP transit services in the Nordic and Baltic countries with a 400 GBE-enabled router.
In addition to enhancing Sparkle's presence in Northern Europe, the new node, fully integrated with Sparkle's global Tier-1 IP backbone Seabone, enables network operators, ISPs, OTTs, content delivery networks, content and application providers to take advantage of IP transit services reliable, low-latency services with terabit-per-second capabilities. Customers can also take advantage of a full range of IP solutions, including DDoS Protection services to protect their network from attacks and Virtual NAP, which provides virtual access to major Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) without the need to develop proprietary infrastructure.
