Champions: Monaco-Juve, derby in Madrid

Nyon's urn outlined the picture for the Champions League semi-finals: Juve draws Monaco, a team on paper weaker than Real and Atletico, who instead will face each other in a remake of last year's final. Nedved is cautious: "we're expecting a very young team that runs a lot and has nothing to lose, so it's always something complicated".

Champions: Monaco-Juve, derby in Madrid

Juventus will face Monaco in the semi-final of the Champions League, while on the other side a real sporting battle will take place between the two Madrid teams. The whole "Juve world" can be said to be satisfied with the outcome of the draw: Cristiano Ronaldo and Griezmann will face each other in a double confrontation that is expected to be stellar, and Massimiliano Allegri and his friends will be able to enjoy the show from home.

But be careful, the Monegasques reached the semifinals by eliminating Manchester City first and then Borussia Dortmund. The team coached by the Portuguese Jardim has thrilled all football lovers, proposing a quick and fast game, made up of individual cues and defensive solidity.

The attention of the extraordinary Juventus rearguard will have to be centered on the unusual attacking duo of the red and whites, formed since 1998 by Mbappè, a rising star of French and world football, author of 22 goals and 11 assists to date, and by the Colombian Falcao, striker of a race that seems to have returned to the days of Atletico Madrid.

The Monegasque eleven is made up of other rising talents, such as left-back Mendy and Portuguese playmaker Bernardo Silva. There will also be a small piece of the Turin grenade, given that the former captain Glik is in the center of defence.

Juve will have to make their history and their game identity prevail, which is now strong and consolidated. Higuain-Dybala is a couple that the other big European clubs envy, the defense is phenomenal and the two-man midfield designed by Allegri seems to work smoothly.

The bianconeri are by right, together with Zidane's merengues, the favorites for the final victory. Cardiff is two games away, believing it is a must.
