According to CNN the hacker allegedly hacked into the network used by the US presidential cabinet and, in the words of one official, were so clever that the State Department system, through which they then managed to access the presidential network, was de facto " owned by them” for months.
US Security Council spokesman Mark Stroh he hastened not to confirm the news released by CNN of the hacker attack from Russia and added that any kind of activity of this type will be taken “seriously. In this case, as we made clear to him at the time, we have taken immediate measures to evaluate and weaken the intrusion ”.
The same line for the security adviser Ben Rhodes who specified: "We do not believe that Russian hackers have managed to violate the White House computer network where classified data is stored, compromising its security and integrity".
