The Venetian company purchased more than 16 treasury shares for a value of over 40 euros, thus reaching 3,432% of the share capital.

Carraro SpA, one of the major manufacturers of agricultural machinery, announced that it has purchased 16.634 treasury shares at an average unit price of 2,4533 euros per share. The total value is 40.809,02 euros. The Veneto-based company now holds a total of 1.578.414 treasury shares, equal to approximately 3,432% of the share capital, for a total value of 4.713.950 euros.

The Carraro Group closed the first half of 2011 with a profit of 4,9 million euro, a clear improvement compared to the loss of 10,3 million in the first six months of 2010. The trends for the end of the year confirm the trend positive for the company, with an increase in sales and profitability in line with budget expectations.
