Borsa: Furla is preparing to land in Piazza Affari

Furla makes itself beautiful for Piazza Affari. The well-known Italian fashion company is preparing to launch its own IPO which could take place as early as this year or next year.

This was stated by the general manager of Tamburi Investment Partners, Claudio Berretti, during the Star Conference. No exact timing at the moment, but the prospects seem to be rosy: "The company is ready, we'll see how the markets will be, then the ownership will decide".

Tip has invested 15 million euros in Furla through a loan convertible into shares at the time of the IPO. Not only that, the company led by Gianni Tamburi has pledged to double the investment when the company goes public. The banks are probing the shareholders to set up the consortium.

The made in Italy bags and accessories company closed 2016 with consolidated revenues exceeding 420 million euros (+22% compared to the previous year) and a gross operating margin of around 60 million, up 48%. Based on forecasts, its value on Piazza Affari could settle at around 700 million euros.
