Allianz: first quarter profit +24%

Thanks to the good performance of all business segments, Allianz closes the first quarter with a net profit up 24% to 1,7 billion euros – Operating profit +20% to 2,8 billion euros.

The first quarter of Allianz is archived, which closes with net income up 24% on an annual basis to 1,7 billion euros. “The improvement in our results – explains the CEO Michael Diekmann in the note released today by the insurance company – comes from all our business segments”.

Operating profit also rose, up 20% to €2,8 billion. Allianz will publish the detailed results on May 15.
