Acea Environment, subsidiary of That, announced today theacquisition of 100% of the capital of Italmacero Srl, a company active in the sector of waste treatment. The operation took place via the Cavallari Srl, a company controlled by Acea Ambiente. The price paid for the purchase was 1,2 million euros. Italmacero will be 100% consolidated by ACEA.
La Italmacero owns a plant in the Ancona North area with an authorized capacity of around 13 tonnes. The company specializes in the mechanical treatment and recovery of differentiated municipal waste (mixed packaging, mono-material fractions) and special non-hazardous waste.
This acquisition is a further consolidation of That in the waste treatment sector and follows thepurchase of 70% of Tecnoservizi occurred in early October.
