The German company Per Germany Handels Gmbh filed an appeal based on article 108 of the bankruptcy law for the suspension of the auction which took place on 11 April 2017 and relating to the Nave via Bologna business branch of the Stefan company Spa, provisionally awarded to Duferco.
The appeal is based on the fact that the exclusion from the tender, for procedural reasons on which the decision of the Delegated Judge is awaited, did not allow us to examine Per Germany's offer, which met the essential requirement of the reabsorption of all employees still in the process.
Per Germany's project is based on an industrial plan already defined in principle, which provides for the gradual production recovery of all the plants present and possible investments to expand the production range of special steel round bars.
The German company is the European subsidiary of the Iranian group SIS CO (Sepahan Industrial Steel Co. www.payamsanatco.com ) which has been operating since 2005 and which exports iron and steel products in basic steel (billets, reinforced concrete and IPE) to 20 countries worldwide produced in Iran as well as other products that it currently sells on the domestic market.
