Dark future for trade and tourism companies. The Confesercenti surveys for the period January-April 2013 show a worsening of the crisis in the two sectors. If the trend highlighted up to April were to be confirmed, at the end of 2013 we will have lost almost 65 companies in the two sectors: in addition to the 43 in the retail trade, more than 21 businesses including accommodation, bars and restaurants will also close forever.
The figure, added to the negative balances of the sectors since 2009, brings to almost 145 thousand companies burned by the crisis in the last five years, with the consequent loss of employment estimated at around 300 thousand jobs. That's about a third of the 833 jobs lost nationwide over the same period.
