Western Union and UniCredit sign agreement for money transfer via current account

Bank customers in Italy will have access to Western Union's money transfer service directly from their current accounts, through online banking and the 7.800 Unicredit ATMs.

Western Union, world leader in payment services, and Unicredit, leader in financial services in Europe, have signed an agreement to offer in Italy ABMT, the money transfer service via bank account. Western Union and UniCredit are already successful partner in eight countries. 

With ABMT, Unicredit customers can easily use the Western Union service through online banking, 7.800 ATMs and 4.000 multifunctional bank kiosks, to send money from their checking accounts to over 450.000 Western Union locations, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
