Ubs promotes Italy, despite the fact that the Italian government revised it slightly in the latest Economic and Financial Document up the forecasts on the deficit-GDP ratio and on the debt-GDP ratio for 2012 and 2013.

In fact, Matteo Cominetta, an economist at UBS, states in a note relating to the figures contained in the Def, that the latter "do not alter our assessment according to which Italy is basically solvent and has a credible recovery plan".
