Tourism, aid up to 1,4 billion to businesses: agreement between the ministry, CDP and banks

Resources up to 1,4 billion to make the tourism sector more attractive and competitive both in Italy and abroad, focusing on energy transition, environmental sustainability and digital innovation. This is the objective of the agreement signed by the Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavaglia, by the CEO of Cdp Dario Scannapieco and by the director general of ABI John Sabatini. In particular, the agreement provides for subsidized loans from the "Revolving Fund for the support of enterprises and investments in research" (Fri), in line with the aims of the Pnrr.

But how does it work? The concessions are provided in the form of capital contribution, granted to beneficiary companies by the Ministry of Tourism using 180 million resources from the Pnrr. To these are added the subsidized loans, granted by Cdp under the Fri, for a total amount of up to 600 million, alongside loans of the same amount and duration (up to 15 years) disbursed by the banking sector at market conditions. For a total of almost 1,4 billion.
