Tiffany & Co, the jewelry giant listed on Wall Street, has announced that its board has unanimously appointed the new CEO. It is the Italian Alessandro Bogliolo, 52 years old, manager who knows the luxury sector well, having been at Bulgari for 16 years, also with the role of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Most recently he was CEO of Diesel's apparel and accessories division.
Bogliolo will enter the board of directors of Tiffany ed he will assume the position of CEO starting from 2 October. "Today's announcement concludes the CEO identification and search process, with the selection of a leader who will position the company on a path to sustainable growth," said Interim President and CEO Michael J. Kowalski. 'I am honored and enthusiastic about the opportunity to manage such an important company', Bogliolo also commented.
